HP Compaq nc4010 with PLD Linux 2.0 (ac)



U can try PLD Linux by booting from LiveCD

I've install PLD & WinXP on my laptop

1. Install WinXP (here are my partitions)
2. start system from PLD-RescueCD
3. install PLD ENG PL
remember to modprobe dm_mod before lilo command (add dm_mod to /etc/modprobe)


4. after sucsessfull booting, login as root and run poldek:
[root@pldmachine ~]# poldek
Install packages by typing in poldek comands: install xxx
- pldconf
- ntsysv
- X11-driver-radeon
- X11-fonts
- X11-fonts-100dpi
- X11-fonts-75dpi

if you want also polish fonts:
- X11-fonts-ISO8859-2
- X11-fonts-100dpi-ISO8859-2
- X11-fonts-75dpi-ISO8859-2

if you want M$ fonts:
- fonts-TTF-microsoft-*
then quit poldek and type:
fonts-TTF-microsoft.install --with license_agreement /usr/share/fonts-TTF-microsoft/fonts-TTF-microsoft.spec
and:
fonts-TTF-microsoft-tahoma --with license_agreement /usr/share/fonts-TTF-microsoft-tahoma/fonts-TTF-microsoft-tahoma.spec
